PRAYER
Almighty God, Our Heavenly Father, Creator of the Universe and Mankind in the beginning, we desire to obey thee, O Lord God. We seek knowledge as we study thy word. We pray for guidance and understanding. We pray for they Word to be revealed to us, thy children, as we read study and discuss thy Word, as we endeavor to live in obedience to Thee. We pray for the armor of protection to surround us from the enemy of Thy Word and our Christian beliefs. We fear Thy wrath if we perchance become disobedient of Thy commandments. We pray, not for what we deserve, but for Thy mercy and guidance, so that what we do will be pleasing in Thy sight.
