WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama is keeping close watch on the violence from Mexico's drug war, but he said Wednesday so far it hasn't spilled into this country enough to justify sending troops to the border.
"I don't have a particular tipping point in mind."
"We've got a very big border with Mexico," he said. "I'm not interested in militarizing the border."

On Wednesday, Obama named a national drug czar, Seattle Police Chief Gil Kerlikowske. Bush had given the post Cabinet rank. Obama removed that designation but said that's not a reflection on how seriously he takes the effort to curtail drug use.
"We're going to examine whether and if National Guard deployments would make sense and under what circumstances they would make sense," Obama told The Dallas Morning News in an hour-long talk with 14 regional newspapers.

Obama and his Congress:

  1. vote for a $500 billion tax bill without even reading it?
  2. are spending trillions of borrowed dollars, leaving a debt our great-grandchildren will be paying?
  3. consistently give special interest groups billions of dollars in earmarks to help get themselves re-elected?
  4. want to take your wealth and redistribute it to others?
  5. punish those who practice responsible financial behavior and reward those who do not?
  6. admit to using the financial hurt of millions as an opportunity to push their political agenda?
  7. run up trillions of dollars of debt and then sell that debt to countries such as China?
  8. want government controlled health care?
  9. want to take away the right to vote with a secret ballot in union elections?
  10. refuse to stop the flow of millions of illegal immigrants into our country?
  11. appoint a defender of child pornography to the Number 2 position in the Justice Department?
  12. want to force doctors and other medical workers to perform abortions against their will?
  13. want to impose a carbon tax on your electricity, gas and home heating fuels?
  14. want to reduce your tax deductibility for charitable gifts?
  15. take money from your family budget to pay for their federal budget?
THE PEOPLE THAT VOTED FOR THESE LIBERAL DEMOCRATS WILL GET WHAT THEY DESERVE!
